At Tingyu Teahouse, we are honored to collaborate with Swiss artist Stephan Schmitz, whose conceptually rich and thought-provoking work aligns beautifully with our belief in tea as a medium for reflection and harmony.
His artwork "Serenity" lies at the heart of this collaboration, capturing a quiet yet powerful journey toward inner clarity. The image depicts a symbolic ascent—a path that requires strength and perseverance, but ultimately leads to stillness, vision, and balance. It mirrors the mindful process of traditional tea-making and reminds us that peace is not given, but earned through intention and awareness.
Inspired by the image of quiet reflection atop a mountain, this tea captures the same sense of calm and clarity. Our Dong Ding Oolong is a high mountain tea with gentle layers of flavor that unfold slowly, leaving a smooth, lasting impression. Like reaching the summit after a steady climb, every sip is a chance to pause, breathe, and feel present.
With Stephan Schmitz, Tingyu Teahouse celebrates the art of reflection and the beauty of stillness within the everyday.
